Social Media: Today’s Generation

When it comes to socializing, the best way to keep up with the latest news, everyone knows that how important it is to stay up to date. Not only it helps in socializing one’s self but apart from that it plays very crucial role in digital marketing which is far more beneficial than the newspaper, of course it’s the excellent way that allows people to communicate directly and build direct connection.

However, every coin has two sides. Yes, advantages are numerous but have you ever thought of the other side?

If it develops direct connections in short term, then at the same time it is time consuming as it take’s time to carry on with the demands of display regular updates and keep going a positive relationship with all of your followers.

Of course, it builds brand but eventually decrease the communication skills.

It allows users to easily connect with the audience and share information in fastest way besides who knows whether the news is fake or not. There has been so many times where fake news has spread its tentacles. Fake video clips, new stories, fake news, viral post, etc.

Surveys conducted:

-According to an article published in the BBC website, in 2016, before the US election, at least 140 fake news websites which were pulling in huge numbers on Facebook, were identified.

-In a survey conducted a few years ago in the US, 50 percent of internet users surveyed revealed that they hear about the latest news via social media before even hearing about it on TV.

Things get complicated when readers fail to do fact-checking.

Every single person who has mobile phones is using social media including children and there are a lot of content on which is definitely not appropriate for them, case like cyber-attacks is becoming more prevalent in today’s world.

Now a days social media addiction is society’s biggest problem. It is separating us from nature. World is moving very fast; every day new strategies and tactics are generating. Social media is the tool in today’s generation one should must have to stay updated.

There was a time when reading a newspaper would be our first priority while sipping a cup of tea in the morning. Since then, so many things have changed in last few decades where now lives revolve around social media and circulation of newspaper has seen significant downturn across the world.
