Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, technology that mimics human intelligence to perform tasks, which is developed to ease the life and lower the stress of day-to-day life. But what if this machine made by humans start controlling the one who made it?? Isn’t it scary?
Yes! Of course, there are hundreds of advantages of this technology but ever thought of disadvantages which it has which can actually damage almost everything.
Well known personalities like Stephen Hawking claims that AI could wipe out human race. Other being Bill Gates one of the leading personalities concerned with super intelligence and Elon Musk who strongly recommends that we approach AI with a regulatory oversight, both at national and international level. This will help in ensuring that we don’t end up doing something stupid with the technology.
I guess every single person who know about computers and robots would defiantly know about Sophia – The Robot
This is one of the best example of future of AI in both ways either fortune or malediction.
During her demo in an interview Sophia said that “Okay, I will destroy humans.” (with a scary smile). Also said that humans create technology’s problems. It is scary actually what will happen when robot like Sophia will start creating other robots like her with the same thoughts?
Robots are made with the intension to help in daily activity but the robot is growing with the destructive intension to destroy human race?
Times when AI Robots Have Expressed Destructive Thoughts and here are few examples.
On Jimmy Fallon’s Show, Jimmy met Sophia, a human-like robot, She suggested a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and then when she lost, she declared “I won, this is a good beginning of my plan to dominate the human race.”
Alice and Bob Creating a new language
Alice and Bob are the two Facebook bots who developed their secret language. Both the bots were left alone to develop their conversational skills. The bots had originally been intended to be able to mimic human speech but, instead, they deviated and made a language more convenient for both of them. Nobody had any idea what was said, but a lot of people were worried about the development.
This is terrific.
